model identification

Good morning,
my late father had bought in the fifties or fourties a Zodiac Automatic. The case was exactly the same as the attached pic. The dial was similar to the one attached but with written "Automatic". It was not an autographic ....only the case was the same of the autographic shown.
Can somebody identify what model it was  and possibly the years of the make. Probably my father bought it in New York, as he was a director at Gulf Oil Co.
Thank you for your kind help!
Alberto

What is the number on the back? Have you opened it and tell us if it is manual wind or automatic?

Hi Butch,
unfortunetly I do not have it any more since a lot of time, so I cannot tell anything about the numbers  I remember it was automatic.
Best wishes from Italy!

Perhaps it was a Rotographic then. It may have had the dial repainted and sometimes they left the name off of it when they did that.

Thank you very much for your help, Butch.
I am thinking of buying a similar one, maybe next year.
Best wishes
