  GARY, this one has some real issues.the hands "sticking" probably isnt too major, i had a watch doing this and it was an adjustment issue to keep the hands from catching on each other. this is my guess as i am NOT a watchmaker.the problem with the date sounds a lot more serious, IF the day/date wheel could be refinished it might add some serious $$ to the restoration costs. butch might have an idea of what the restored watch would  or might be worth.  JON

One of the crowns isn't original either.  I have one that has the same issue. 

They are amazingly cool watches, big but thin and wear surprising well even on thin wrists.  And if you've never heard a 36K movement, its a treat.  Split Second Timing indeed.
