Need instructions for 1960's moonphase

43 years ago, when I was 16, my father bought me an automatic  Zodiac moonphase for my birthday. Somewhere along the way it got misplaced, and I have been looking for it ever since.

Last month I found and bought the exact watch in NYC and just received shipment.  I was told it was in full working condition, and it does keep perfect time. Aside from being told not to change the 4 settings between 10 and 2, I know nothing else about how to operate the watch. Can someone provide me some operating instructions, especially as it pertains to setting the date/month/day/moon indicators.

Thank you.

Butch will be along and let you know how to operate that.

Welcome aboard and please post some photos of your watch if you can.

 8) these are very simple to set.look at the sides of the case, there should be little flush pushers, probably two on the crown side and either one or two on the opposite side of thr case. i have found the best/safest thing to use to push them is a wooden tooth pick! no chance of scratching the finish. you will have to experiment on which one changes which display. a gentle push is all that is required and you should see a display change with each push. if you keep the watch running you wont have to reset except the dadate in months with under 31 days. give it a try, nothing to it, hope this helps.   JON

What Jon said, it is simple. As for the moon phase setting, I use a site like
