NICE catch. You gonna send it out? It should be shiny on the outside and have a brushed center. Like any good watch it looks like it was worn, but BWG can make it right again, as you know SW.

I think this was NOS.  It still had the stockers on the face and back of the watch.

The link is not extra, but what I took off to size my wrist.

I do need to send it off to BWG for proper treatment.  I have been wearing it, so it does
have some marks from handling it.  Gordo wanted to sport it yesterday but his wrist was
too hairy.

nice score...but is it possible to wear with other  leather strap?

You could take the band off, but you would have to put on a very narrow leather band and I don't think it
would look correct with the watch.  The band would be too narrow in my opinion.

I do like the metal band that comes with these Astros.  They are heavy and solid.

Genender was going to come out with a leather band for those but wound up selling the Brand before that happened. But who would want to? As it is it makes a nice set of brass knuckles if you need it to be! That is a SOLID HEAVY watch.

Cool addition to the collection!  I have always liked the modern astrographics, but yet to find the great deal that will add one to my collection.  Congratulations!
