You see these pop up once in a while. Not sure if they are fakes or simply bad redials and wrong hands.

I have seen one of those in person before.  Just an improper redial, generically styled.  Have seen the same exact redial style on Bulovas as well, just changed the name.

Thanks UV. The thing that always bothered me was, why didi they go to the trouble of taking all the hour markers off, filling in the holes, and then do a generic redial? I mean, who would pay money for that???   :wtf

They may not have even put in that much work.  The Zodiac Seawolfs with that dial that I had seen were in a Seawolf case, but the dials looked to be made from Hermetic dials or some other plain model with fewer applied markers. 

For a retailer, it is a way to take a plain dial and make it into something that they think atleast has a look.  In the process they create something that definitely never was.
