Non Power Reserve Autographic?

Curious about a Zodiac I've seen listed for sale. I always thought the Autographic had a power reserve indicator, which this doesn't. Is it legit?

Ultra-Vintage

Hard to tell without seeing in person, but my guess from the look of it was that the dial was refinished a long time ago and they put Autographic instead of Rotographic.  Considering that some of the minute track is missing again now it is hard to tell, but every Autographic I have had in was a Power Reserve.

Looks good to me. I saw Autographics without power reserve.
If I remember correctly, first Zodiacs with power reserve was named Powergraphic (manual wind). And automatic models with 360deg rotors were named Autographic. But later they adopted Autographic for power reserve models with automatic movement.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the replies!

Merely on this topic, to no one in particular.

And this is why we have the catalogs guys. The Autographic came first. The Powergraphic came later and was indeed a manual wind. And both had the gauge. Why? Because that is what those models were for! Just like a Sea Wolf was for diving, right? I have come across very few Powergraphics over the years so I have to presume it was not popular nor was around very long. The AutoG lasted almost 15 years.

Have a look at these. These are on the free site. (Imagine that!) Just imagine what a subscription to Zodiac Catalogs can do for a collector. I don't know about you but I sure have problems remembering things now a days.

Over the past 20+ years I have found that most redialers in the US do not have the right dies any longer so they just slap any Zodiac redial on a watch and at that point there is nothing the owner could have done about it. I have seen this redial MANY times over the years.

Thanks Butch. That's why this site is the best.

FWIW i was nearly certain, but this seller has quite the vintage (and modern) Zodiac collection so I wanted to be sure as I've been out of the vintage market for a few years. He's only asking $200 Canadian - so I suspect he knows and is factoring that into his price. I passed either way.
