I sent this to the seller today:
Just a friendly heads up here so no one tries to return this on you after they buy it and take it to their watchmaker. The movement is not original ergo this is not a Chronometer/Chronometre. If you do a search on it you will find that those watches have/had finely adjusted movements, usually in 5 to 7 positions, and the movements were marked as such. My guess? The old movement got water in it and some watchmaker replaced it along the way. No way you would know this if you were not a watch person, but you should disclose this in the auction. The real watch people will stay away from it, so no worries there. Too bad, it could have been a very nice, expensive, and old example.
Collecting Zodiacs is not for the meek; be an educated collector.
