Picked up a SW at the NAWCC and it has a cal. 73 on the rotor...AS1700/01 under the balance...is this a transplant?

No, it should be legit.  It is in an earlier Seawolf?

The caliber 73/AS 1700 was in the earlier models, usually with no-vein hands and lower ATM ratings.  The company then switched to the 70 - 72 series, which was based on the AS 1687/1688.

20ATM case, early silver "swiss" dial and veined hands...

What is the serial number?  It is definitely earlier with that shaped date window, but yet late enough for the 20ATM case and veined hands......
