Title: If you have a Sea Wolf or GMT...
Post by: reydelaplaya on May 26, 2011, 09:21:23 AM
If you have a Sea Wolf or GMT, you may want to check out this listing:

110693209299

It's for an Original NOS Tropic Black 18MM strap With Curved Ends

Looks good, and it's period-correct if you don't have the original SS bracelet

We've seen 'em in different listing from another seller for almost $200

This guy's got 'em for $34.XX (exchange rate) 30CHF

My total came to $47 including shipping here to the U.S.   Fair enough.

He's got more... all NOS

Just thought I'd share the find  ;)

Swiss Tropic Dive Straps... because cows aren't waterproof.®

Are these regular size or long?  Are these rubber like the original NOS tropic?

I bought one of these in the past, not from this seller and it ended up not being tropic and the size was too small.

Can you post pics when you receive yours?

Thanks

I used two different translators to double-check to make sure that what I was reading was correct.

They are definitely rubber, and original Tropic, not the copies.

As for the length, not sure yet if it's 'long', but I was willing to take a chance because the regular size fits me anyway.

Pics will be posted mounted to my black dial SW when I get it in about two weeks or so.

The Black NOS Tropic Strap w/ Curved Ends arrived today, all the way from Switzerland. (Kinda fast, right?!?)

Looks, feels, smells absolutely legit, not to mention, fantastic!

Completely identical to my white one I bought NOS a few years ago from a different seller (though I can't remember who at the moment).

It is most likely not the 'LONG', but fits me fine just like the other one.

(Plz forgive, Black Dial SW has a broken stem and is in need of a li'l TLC from BWG which will be happening shortly & a new or better dial in case anyone's got one they want to negotiate)(Orange tint is not your screen, it's my overhead 70's spaghetti lamp, I needed some extra light)

You know I usually like to blah, blah, blah... but I'll let the pix be worth those couple thousand words. ;)
