Several years ago my mother was going to throw away her broken zodiac watch.  I used to play dress-up with it back in the 60's.  I asked her if i could keep it and I put it away and forgot about it.  I believe she said she got it in the 40's but at the time her recall was not so good.  Any information you may have on this watch would be helpful.  The back is marked 14K Gold and I'm pretty sure it's the original band.  There are stones above & below the face (not sure if they are diamonds or marquezite).  The winding pin has been missing since I first used to play with it.  I'm not sure it's worth repairing or possibly selling.

Dating is hard as the styles for those dress watches did not change a lot, but I do see something similar in the 1950's catalog. Those stones are diamonds. As women's watches are not collected there is not value, other than what someone is willing to pay for it. Most jewelers will give you the scarp value for the gold and stones.

As for worth repairing, it would probably cost you about $100 or so and then you would have a very nice family heirloom.
