I attribute that info to one of our esteemed members "timemachinewatch". He came out with "only 350 made" a couple of years ago when he was pushing those NOS SSW kits. He posted it here and on his website.

There was a limited number made by Genender in 2000, sure, but this guy is selling a 1990's model where they made thousands of them. <sigh>
