The rotor (the "engine") had a broken axle, but I had another one.
Here are some pics of another movement I've got, you can see the metal construction and the rotor on the left with the magnets and the very fragile coils that drive the rotor.

It runs too slow at the moment, I still have some "tinkering" to do...
