Hi all.
I have a question re bezels on the early Seawolf 10 ATMs.
From the catalogues, I notice that the bezel of the black dial 10ATM is reversed, the 45 marker on the bezel is at the 3 0'clock position while on the white dial the 45 is at the 9 position. I have two questions:
1. Should the reversed bezel only ever be seen on the white dial variant or was there something of a mix and match approach?
2. What is the reasoning/purpose behind a reverse bezel?
Looking forward to your response and thanks in advance :twothumbsup
btw, on a different matter, :BGW: is the best!
1 - I would not think so.
2 - 1st design that was later changed is my guess.
70 years is a long time back with little info available today I am afraid.
Thanks, Butch. Yep, I think unless someone or something rises from the past it will remain just one of those things we can only guess at. Maybe a numerically challenged Zodiac designer or bezel fabricator?
:lolz;
