As I await my 3DMP's return from a service, I try to kill time contemplating aesthetic options. As I'm sure many watch owners do, I like finding the "right" strap (a deeply subjective idea, I confess) for the watches I own. My watch came with a new fake-alligator-embossed leather strap, but I am wondering what sort of were often paired with this watch back when it was new. They had some flashy not-black straps in the few advertising photos I've seen, but were any paired with some dressy black straps from the factory? Or what sort of strap would fit the vintage aesthetic of this watch?

As a side topic, how do people feel about tang buckles vs deployant clasps? :)

This one has a genuine crocodile band in cordovan. I do not care for the deployment buckles, just not comfortable for me.
