Title: Zodiac Sea Wolf 722 906 question
Post by: mylesprodriver on July 25, 2024, 12:42:26 PM
Hello! This is my first post on here. I just inherited my grandfather's sea wolf. I got it running, but it has the incorrect stem and crown. Does this watch have a screw down crown? Does anyone have a pic of what the crown or stem looks like? Thank you!

That model does not have a screw-down crown.  With the 72B movement it is supposed to have the quickset date (crown push), which would be activated during screwing down the crown so it would not work.  The first regular Seawolf with a screw-down crown did not come along until Zodiac had switched from AS to ETA movements (after ETA bought out AS).  Up until that time screw-down crowns were only used on the Super Seawolfs.
