Title: EARLY sea wolf model
Post by: jon p on June 01, 2010, 09:35:05 AM
:o :o WOW--take a look at ebay ##300433119652 ! i have never seen one of these early models before , a very nice example and the seller knows it, too expensive for my budget. are the streatch bands repairable when the springs break? there are 2 bands include, guess you could make one good one. this is a very interesting piece of SW history.  JON P

I know that seller and he is being very generous, both with the extra parts and the price. This bands are a real pain to repair the springs in and most watchmakers will not even try to fix them.

We should pool our money, buy it then each of us could wear it for a month then pass it on;  it's my idea so I get it first!  ;D     TJW

That could work. Another idea is that all of you pool your money, buy it for the web site, and I will hold onto it for posterity's sake...

It went over $900 and still didn't hit reserve.  I'm surprised at how high it went, must be all the cool paperwork, there is usually relatively little interest in the first Seawolves.
