I looked up that watch number in the catalog and it says Quartz Movement.
Not sure if they made a manual version.

Maybe the guts were replaced or this is a special version or maybe the owner thinks it's manual and it is Quartz?

I don't know, but I also saw a Genender SSW for a great price in the new items.  If I didn't already have one, I would buy it.

i got a response to my email from the seller, it is quartz, some how a description for another watch got attached! at least i am not crazy. what is the item # for the SSW?  jon p
