Thanks for adding that link. I am totally w/ Jon P. Super interesting and like a walk back in time. The U.S. Navy took serious consideration into the viability of those watches! Lives depended on it!

Seawolf was $39.5 and Sub $90. Prices on those specific models has taken quite the different direction since. That Sub is about $25k today and a good condition Seawolf would be perhaps $1k(?). (Was a really nice example further down in that thread.)
Wonder how todays watches would behave in a test like that...
