A crying shame (SSW)

Take a look at auction 220553539529.

That is a dial from a 1960s plain Sea Wolf. What we have here is mostly a 1970's "Zodiac Super Sea Wolf" although the hands look like they came from a much later Super in the 1990's. Also, all Super's came with a date or a day/date movement and dial. I have never seen a bezel like that on a Super either.

Wow, even a Zodiac noob like me can see that that watch has some issues. The hands give it away at a glance.

Caveat emptor is right. I emailed this seller all this info the day his auction started. His response, "thanks for your information, will double check the watch again". Note that is it still for sale, no additions to the description about any of this info, and with 15 hours left is up to $300.
