SOLD::: Seiko 6309-7049 just SERVICED Original dive watch from 1985..

Offering a 6309-7049 from 1985 in original condition that has been in my accumulation for at least 15 years.I had no plans to sell this one, but unfortunately another is calling and the watch fund is low.

Watch is in original unpolished condition and original finish is evident. Crown screws down like it should. Quick setting day & date change fine. It is a very nice example of an original 6309-7049. The pictures don't really do the watch justice.It looks much better in person than the pictures show.

I took it to my local watchmaker about 6 weeks ago for a COA service with specific instructions on what I wanted since I was planning to wear it. I picked it up this week and was thrilled with the result.
I could have made it look like a brand new watch with cheap Chinese aftermarket parts for a small amount of money, but I wanted to keep  the watch's history intact, After all it is a 33 year old watch and my feeling is " a vintage watch should look like a vintage watch". I wore it for a couple of days and was really impressed with the look of the watch & the accuracy of this 33 year old movement.

I did take 1 liberty with the originality and added my own personal touch. I had a NOS Seiko 6105 double domed crystal left over from my 6105 days installed. It is a perfect fit and adds a touch that Seiko should have added. I'll include the original crystal, but when you see the watch with the 6105 crystal, you will not want to change it.

I have installed a Classic Black/Grey Bond  5 ring NATO style ZULU on the watch. If Mr. Bond is not to your taste, I have about 11 other patterns of brand new 22mm ZULU's to choose from or about 30- 22mm G10 NATO straps.
