Super Sonic Transport

Hi, I always thought SST in the Zodiac models stood for Split Second Timing (although I never understood quite well how this split second thing applied to ordinary models) but now there's a SST model in the bay being described as Super Sonic Transport... because it was supposed to be accurate even at super sonic speeds...

Emmmm... any thoughts on this new theory? After watching some Corsari and Botographic models, this could be a new hit in Zodiac history... or could be true.

The Concorde SST airplane had come out at that time and was a huge hit. Zodiac took it and made a play off of that SST (super sonic transport) and named their watches SST for Split Second Timing.
