Thank you for allowing me to join! We just received this Zodiac from my FIL. It looks like an Olympos (36000?). However, we cannot find much online about the Olympos, even less with the vertical date. The engraving on the back is dated in 1971 and seems to be for military recognition or anniversay.

Can anyone give me any additional details about the Olympos, or sites I could find info? We do not have box or papers and it has been well worn - also does not appear to be on original band - so the value is clearly diminished, but if you have any info on worth - would appreciate that too.
TYIA!

I saw one that actually sold for $200 on eBay. Zodiac started using the 36,000 high beat movement in the very late 60's (Orbiter vs Astrographic). Then when the Concord SST airplane became such a big hit with the public they renamed the line using that movement to SST (Splt Second Timing). Can you get a clear picture of the movement?
