Zodiac Two Register Chronograph

Here is a recent project that I wanted to share.  A Zodiac Two Register Chronograph in an all stainless case, having a silver dial with gold markers.  This one came to me in a trade, and having been from a watchmaker's estate (a watch that had come in for repair and never completed) it had several issues to be taken care of.

Some of the most difficult repairs to do on chronographs are those that involve broken parts or screws.  This watch had 3 screws broken off into the chrono mechanism, a part of the old stem snapped off into the plate, a hairspring that needed some adjustment, and a broken click spring.  Looking past those issues, it was a nice enough chronograph that was definitely worth restoring.

For the band I chose a genuine crocodile, and added an original Zodiac buckle that I thought would both match the "dress" look of the chronograph.

Overall, during the restoration the watch had:

-Full mechanical service and adjustment
-Removal and replacement of three broken off screws
-Adjustment of the hairspring
-Adjustment of the operating lever
-Replacement of the click spring
-Removal and replacement of stem
-Adjustment of the pushers
-Clean/polish/brush of the case
-NOS Zodiac crown
-New Crystal
-New Band

Very nice! I am not a fan of gold, but your Zodiac wears is nicely. Good choice of strap, too!
