Orange Seawolf

So great to see this forum up and running again.

obsessed with the orange species of Seawolf.

got this one out of a fleamarket, wasn't cheap but the nicest I've seen other than NOS, with original jubille bracelet.

my daily wearer, the bright orange track has faded to a light yellow.  Cool piece, serviced by my local watch guy who did a decent job, even fixing the quick set date (push in crown).

a project watch (first pic) bought from ebay eons ago (paid too much), had water damage to the dial and the movement.  Bezel was shot too.  Sent off for restoration/servicing, came back like this, with a nos dial, nos burgundy bezel, not the correct (impossible to find) orange one.  Looks good cosmetically but movement still has issues.  Even has little plastic crystal protector still on and note that funky orange seconds hand.  I'm stashing it away before I get too much agita. (lol)

Still looking for the silver dial variant of the orange Seawolf.  These are some of the nicest Seawolves from the house of ideas that was Zodiac.

Wonderful!  I had  SeaWolf  with the blue/gray + orange bezel and orange chapter markings.  The watchmaker I bought it from had a stroke and had to give up the trade.  His partner destroyed the bezel when I took the watch in for a minor problem.  Somehow, he managed to melt the Bakelite bezel insert.  How and why he would mess with the bezel when adjusting the regulation I have no idea, but I was furious.  He tried to deny it until I showed up with a photo I took of my watch prior to this.  He caved and I made him give me my purchase price back.
I wish I'd have kept the watch and tried to find a replacement bezel.  I really like the look of it.

Nice to see some familiar faces here!

I bought this NOS orange SW last year and am just getting around to photographing it:

Gorgeous Seawolf and great pic Nalu, congrats, looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.  Not sure if the bracelet is original but it sure suits it to a T.

The end pieces aren't a perfect fit, but the clasp is signed and suits the bracelet:

Good to see you here Colin!  I didn't realize you were a Zodiac fan.

Likewise John. I've been a Zodiac fan for a long time - an old Seawolf was probably one of my first dozen dive watches  ;D
