What kind of leather band....................

What kind of leather band would you suggest would go nicely on this one?
It's currently on the Stock s/s band but I'd like to switch to leather........  I was thinking of a Black Sharkskin?
Also........... I have seen next to nothing ever written about this watch other then it's from the 90s, it's mid-size (36 1/2 mm) and was selling in the 90s for around 1100.00
Am I to assume it's a rare one or scarce or hard to find?  People tend to use the word "Rare"  a bit too much but I do believe it to be Rare!?  ANY help/info would be appreciated!

Band choice is all about personal preference really.  For a sport model like that, I would put it on a military style black leather band with contrasting white stitching.  To step it up a little more, instead of plain leather you could get one that was genuine  shark, ostrich, or crocodile.  Any of those would look nice.

Thank you for that reply.
What about the rarity of this particular watch?  I have NEVER seen one like it for sale in the 10 years or so that I have been collecting.
I have seen 3 maybe of the FULL sized model but never this mid-sized model.

That is the 1990s Kortz Zodiac GMT. We probably see about 8-10 a year on eBay, not quite 1 a month. I know that once they went bankrupt in 1997 after that Value City had them for $99.00.

Thanks for the reply!  Try finding one now for $99.00 = good luck!   ;D
Well I can honestly say I have NEVER seen the mid-sized Quartz like this one ever!
