Someone To Rehab a Sea Wolf Bracelet

It's been a while since I looked into the Forum here, though I still greatly enjoy the Sea Wolf I've had for some years. I keep it serviced and it's ticking merrily.

A kind fellow on another watch forum has seen me feature it from time to time and sent me a private message offering to give me a Sea Wolf bracelet he found in some other watch stuff he had acquired.  I had always wished to add a bracelet, but never found one for a "real deal" anywhere and after years of keeping an eye open for one, I've only watched asking prices rise.  So, I am really grateful for this good fortune my forum bud provided me.

It's a tired bracelet and needs to be restored. Only two of the links still work properly, the rest being loose and flollopy. Can a shop be recommended for restoration work on these bracelets?

I am also curious to correctly identify which bracelet I have.  Hopefully, a couple of photos will appear when this inquiry is posted.

Take a pic of the markings on the back of the clasp that touches the skin.

BWG can restore the band but only when servicing the watch.

Here are photographs of the bracelet, showing the markings. 

You may be familiar with Sea Wolf serial numbers.  The serial number on the Sea Wolf here is 1288087.  It has no hacking feature and the hands are the solid lume style. 

This Sea Wolf was serviced a couple years ago and requires no service at present, so I would probably wait for a spell until I have some watches serviced that are coming due for regular maintenance.

The watch serial number makes it pre-1965, but we knew that from the solid lume hand. Sorry, I got nothing on the band, maybe someone else will. Waiting until the service makes send to me to get the band done. Personally, without a wet suit on, I do not find them to be very comfortable myself.

Apparently, the four-digit numeral on the bracelet does not help.  Internet investigation did not turn up anything for me either. 

Sea Wolfs are hard to pin down. I did not know that solid lume hands could be had as late as 1965. One site dated the watch much later, claiming a low seven digit serial number placed the watch into the 1980s.

I agree with you.  I don't enjoy watch bracelets generally for daily wear, preferring the look and the feel of straps.  I maintain a strict rule around here to never wet watches at all.  I even take the divers off and pocket them before making a short dash through a rain shower to the car.

Still, I would really like to restore this bracelet and give it a run on the Sea Wolf. A kind gift from a forum friend deserves to be sported about on the Sea Wolf if it can be adjusted to fit an 8-inch wrist.
