Zodiac Sea Wolf SST 36000 pictures and looking for extra band links

just purchased this from EBay and I couldn't be happier!  This watch is in EXCELLENT condition!  Has some scratches on the crystal that only show up in the pictures.  Ordered some polywatch to fix that.  Everything else is working flawlessly.  Keeping time for a week now, day and date no issues and the band is in great shape as well.  Pretty sure this watch didn't see alot of wrist time during its life, it will now!

Only real issue is the original Kreisler bracelet is small and I could use some extra links if anyone has a couple or knows where I could get some.  Recently saw an aftermarket bracelet that looks to have the same style of links so I may take a chance on that to see if they may work.

Love the look of this watch and it is just fueling my emerging zodiac obsession! This is my 5th Zodiac watch, plenty more to come I'm sure!

No sweat Butch!  Not a problem and let me add some photos!   The illumination on the dial is still in great shape too!

Just added another picture at the end.  Used some polywath for the first time and MAN!  What a difference!  Can't see that long thin scratch at all!

Congrats, nice watch!  I have one one these and I am curious if your crystal has a prism effect? Not sure how to describe it and it is tough to photogragh. If you look at it at an angle you can see deliberate lines.

DocBeav

Not sure I follow you on that.  You mean lines in the actual crystal?   Not sure.  Butch may know though!

Those "diamond" or "prism" effect crystals for Style 1919 Sea Wolf were aftermarket replacement. Never being a standard option.

Found a link "solution"  Was able to buy a vintage Kiesler band that even though the bar links are slightly wider than the one son it now, they are the same length and most importantly, the attachment locking pieces (don't know exact nomenclature) are the exact same so I was able to pop one off the new (vintage) band and add it to the current band and voila! Worked PERFECTLY!  Now it actually fits and you never even see the link on the underside.  Not that ya can really notice it anyway.  Problem solved!  Keep an eye on etsy and ebay!

I love it! Too many are hung up on originality whereas I'd rather wear it.

Still amazes me how much some of the damn bracelets or their pieces can go for!   I just bought a square cushion case (i think  will post pics later) SST, in GREAT shape, with the orig "H" link bracelet on it.  seen those alone going for over $200.

Nice! Now I don't need to get hung up on wether to repalce it or not due to it's originality!! Lol....
