My First Clebar

I just pulled the trigger on my first Clebar.  It's 42mm without the crowns.  I'll try an fit one of my zodiac bands on this thing.
Having it shipped to BWG directly.  I'm pretty excited to see what this thing is.  It came in a lot of like 8 watches but I don't want any of the other watches, unless anyone here says there is a high value item I am missing?

Here is a photo of the Clebar, if anyone knows anything about this model, please let me know?

BWG has the Clebar and it is being overhauled.
I asked for pics of the movement to see what is inside this thing.
Hope to have pics before it is sent back to me.

Just got back the Clebar's from BWG.

It is now one of my largest watches.  I really like it.
Super Automatic World Time Clebar and a Clebar Stopwatch.

Photos are non Light Box.

ETA notes from BWG:  "The Clebar watch was made by Zodiac, it has a case and movement which are not signed but are originally like that. It is a Zodiac movement (made by A Schild).  Just for reference and to confirm that it is an original movement we replaced the date disc (which was damaged) with an original Zodiac Date disc and worked perfectly."

Sea Wolf, I picked up one of these Clebar's. I like it too, especially that it's an automatic. I noticed on your Tachymeter scale, the 60 is at the 12 position. On mine, it's more like the 1 position. Does yours turn? Mine doesn't. Also, on the World bezel, does yours turn with any resistance or does it just spin freely?
Thanks
Chris

My Tachy does not turn.  The bezel turns with resistance but no clicking and it turns both directions.
Nice pickup, I recall seeing another on the bay for sale a while and I almost bid on it, I like the model a lot.
What band is on yours?

That's weird then, I have no idea why my tachy isn't at the same position as yours. Maybe mine was apart and they didn't put it back at the same position. My bezel just spins freely. Something for BWG to address sometime down the road.
My band is a blue, suede corfam which I never heard of before I got it. The color fits the color on the dial perfect, but I'll probably try and find a nice stainless band. Not much into leather ones.
Did BWG get yours keeping accurate time or is it so-so because of the quality of the movement?

BWG serviced my Clebar, he did a lot of work on it, it was in poor shape when I bought it.

He said the movement is very good quality and mine keeps great time.  I am sure BWG can move your Tachy to
the correct spot.  I put a 1990's Super Sea Wolf rubber band on this watch and love it.  Not sure if you like Rubber bands,
but you can still buy the 1990'2 SSW rubber band.

Great, thanks for the info. I remember reading you sourced the original SSW rubber straps from the other thread. That's an option I didn't consider.
